NEWSPAPER: In Greencastle Star Press..."And Daddy Finchum still traps" We learned from Clifford Finchum that everyone in Raccoon called William Finchum "Daddy Finchum". He trapped muskrats and other small animals, cured them and then gave them to people in the town to make muffs, gloves, etc. He was with his son Robert in Raccoon when he died. His wife died 23 Oct., 1899 in Raccoon and is also buried in Grider Cemetery with no marker.
