a. Note:   STATE OF ILLINOIS, KNOW CO. in County Court Jan. 1907. In the matter of the estate of Harriett E. Longwell Deceased. To the Hon. R.C. Rice Judge of County of Knox County, in the State of Illinois. The petition undersigned William B. Longwell respectfully represents that Harriett E. Longwell late of the County , departed this life at Maquon in said County 23 Jan. 1907 leaving no will or testament . Harriett E. Longwell died, personal estate of porbable value of $50.00 and real estate to the probable value of $500.00. That the deceased left surviving her no husband but left Frank H. Longwell, Mervin O. Longwell, George M. Longwell, William B. Longwell and Thomas C. Longwell as her children and only heirs at law her surviving. That none of her children died before she died leaving issue. That your petition being a son of said deceased and believing that the said estate should be immediately administered, as well for is proper management by virtue of his right under the Statute, therefore prays that your Honor will grant Letters of Administration to him, William B. Longwell on his taking the oath and entering into bond as prescribed by the Statue. Signed William B. Longwell 26 Jan 1907 T.B. Hardy? Notary Public On back: William B. Longwell and J.L. Now at this time this cause coming on to be heard, and it appearing to the Court that no action has been taken herein for more than five years; that the said Administrator has been notified and requested to make settlement and to properly close said estate, but that he has failed to do so, and has been negligent in and about the performance of his duties herein. It is, therefore, hereby ordered that said cause be and the same is hereby stricken from the docket, with leave to reinstate upon proper showing, and the payment of costs. April 18, 1912 R.C.
