In 1845it became Wyandot, So Isaac did not move, just the lines did. Deposition from Stephen Longwell Revolutionary War Pension File Re:Mother Jane Longwell to receive pension LONGWELL, STEPHEN #W 4268 Rev. War. State of Ohio, Marion Co. Beforeme William Brown a Justice of the Peace in and for said countypersonally appeared ISAAC LONGWELL who after being duly sworn deposethand saith that STEPHEN LONGWELL his father received a wound while inthe service of his country in the revolutionary war, as he verilybelieves, which would disable him during the remainder of his life somuch as that his arm was permanently stiff disenabling him from theuse of the musket on which account he was placed in the artillery inwhich he remained until the close of the war, all which he has heardfrom different sources from which he verily believed it to be thetruth. And further that his father the said STEPHEN LONGWELL died on thefirst day of November 1812 and he further saith that his father andmother the said STEPHEN LONGWELL AND JANE LONGWELL lived togetheruntil his death, and further that his mother JANE LONGWELL has lived awidow ever since and that his mother is still living--he furtherstates that his mother was left in indigent circumstance the cause ofwhich he has learned to be that his father lost his property in thewar and that for his services in the war he received continental moneywhich was of but little value. Said ISAAC LONGWELL further saith hehimself was born in May 1778 and further he saith not. ISAAC LONGWELL Xhis mark Sworn to and subscribed before me this17th day of April 1839 WilliamBrown J.P. And be it rembered that the said last Will and Testament of thesaid Isaac Longwell deceased, is in the worth? and figures followingto wit: In the name of the Benevolent Father of All, I Isaac Longwell ofWyandot county, and State of Ohio, do make and publish this my lastwill and testament. Item 1st. I give and devise to my beloved wife in liew of herdower this farm in which we now reside situate in the County ofWyandot and State of Ohio, it Being the North west half of the NorthWest quarter of Section four in township four of Range fifteen Southof the base line, containing Seventy Seven Acres and Sixty threehundredths of an acre during her natural life, or as long as sheremains my widow and all the stock household goods furniture provisions, and other goods and chattels which may bethereon at the time of my decease, during her natural life asaforesaid. She however selling so much thereof as may be sufficientto pay my just debts and also to give my sons Amos Longwell, WilliamLongwell, Francis M. Longwell & Isaac N. Longwell each a horse at theage of one and twenty, to be worth fifty dollars each and that my daughter Priscillahave at the age eighteen years a bed & bedding and one cow. Item 2nd. I devise and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Winslowand her heirs the sum of Five dollars to be paid in Eighteen monthsafter my decease. Item 3rd. I devise and bequeath to my son Peter Longwell the sumof Five dollars to be paid within Eighteen months after my decease. Item 4th. I devise and bequeath to my son James Longwell the sumof Five dollars to be paid within Eighteen months after my decease. Item 5th. After the decease of my wife Sarah Longwell, I deviseand bequeath that my farm and personal estate be sold and the proceedsbe equally divided between my sons and daughters, George Longwell, Lewis Longwell, Henry Longwell,Rachel Howe, Samuel Longwell, Stephen Longwell, Amos Longwell,Priscilla Longwell, William Longwell, Francis M. Longwell and Isaac Newton Longwell. I do hereby revokeall former wills by me made (5 words illegble) my hand andseal this 8th day of January in the year 1847.
