a. Note:   Will Long Dies Tuesday Evenmg George William Long, 71, dIed Tuesday evening about 5:45 at the homeof his daughter, Mrs. Glen Bucher, following an illness of about threeweeks duration. Mr. Long had been at the Buchcr home for about twoweeks. Funeral services will be held this afterncon at 2:00 o'clock in theMethodist church and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. GeorgePennington. Burial will be in the Pieisol cemetery east of town. I O OF burial services at the grave. George William Long, son of John and Sarah Long, was. born Sept. 23,1865, in Illinois. He came to Iowa vith his parents when he was threeyeais of age. The family settled on farm near Keota where he grew tomanhood. On Sept 14, 1890, Mr. Long was united in marriage to Mary AdelineBlair, who died April 16, 1918: They became the parents of fourchildren who survive: Mrs. Glen Bucher and John W Long, both of NorthEnglish, Mrs Harry Wagamon of Kinross and Rollie Long of Marion. Thereare seventeen grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters,Chas. and Jesse Long of North English, Elmer Long of Cedar Rapids,Mrs. Elizabeth Likens, Des Moines; Mrs. Lily Ponchard, Wellman; Mrs.Ella Hudson, Mrs. Ora Emde and Mrs Emma Hardy of North English.
