a. Note:   Marker, natives of Maryland and Pennsylvania respectively, though thegreater part of their lives was passed in Darke county, Ohio . In 1864they came to Cedar county, Iowa, where both died. There were fourteenchildren in their family, of whom three died in infancy and one at theage of seventeen years, while the others all reached years ofmaturity, married and reared families of their own.".... End ofExcerpt Raymon and Inf son buried on lot in Greenlawn with Mary Epert betweenthem, also two Frederick children, sons of Daniel Frederick and MaryMarker (Mary sister of Catherine) Eli Marker listed as father on Death Cert. of Catherine Marker Wagamon . 1850 and 1860 OHIO Census, Darke County. 1857 Land Atlas, ELI was living on 160 acres in NE 1/4, Sect. 23,Wayne Twp DCO, They then appear in 1870 Iowa, Cedar Co. Census. 1872 Atlas shows ELI living on 160 acres in S.27, near Cedar Bluffsin Cass Twp. Eli and wife Catherine are buried in Sand Hill Cem, S.27 Center Twp.Daughter Catherine and Husband William Wagamon were in Cedar Co by1865 where their son Eli died and then on to Keokuk Co in 1868.
