Notes
a. Note:   card 140
In St Swithin's Churchyard, south of the tower.
Inscribed: Sacred to the memory of ANN Relict of the late JAMES
HOCKADAY of Red Post in this parish who died 15th Jan. 1849 aged 38
 years.
As wife, as widow and as Mother kind
A bright example she has left behind.
Yet brighter still religion bids it shine
And decks the character with grace divine.
Through life, her Saviour was her constant guide
And by his faith sustained she calmly died.
Hope her last moments cheering with its ray
To light her spirit to eternal day.
