a. Note:   Mary Florence Donnell Waggener was born to her parent Thomas Lilburn Donnell and Mary McCormack. Her parents were described as "esteemed pioneers of Jefferson County." Mary Florence was born on October 3, 1854, in Plattin Township, Jefferson County, Missouri. I don't have a lot of information on her. On November 9, 1876, in Plattin Township, she married John Edmond Waggener. John Edmond was the brother to William Horace, who married Mildred Donnell, Mary Florence's half sister. Mary Florence and John Edmond lived near to the area of Rush Tower in Jefferson County. There were eight children born to Mary Florence and John Edmond: Reuben Lilbure (1877), Oliver Martin (1879), Thomas Donnell (1881), Lillian Lee (1884), Richard Garnett (1889), Robert Roy (1891), William Lynn (1894), and Mary Florence (1897). Mary Florence Waggener died the day after her last child was born, on October 28, 1897, in Jefferson County. She is buried with her husband in the Gamel Cemetery in Festus, Missouri. -RW ============= From the 1880 Federal Census of Jefferson County, Missouri, Plattin Township, taken June 18, 1880, household #254.
