Note: I have very little information about Pearl. I know that she was born to her parents Robert J. Johnson from New York and Eva Johnson from Michigan, on May 16, 1884, in the town of Clayton, Lenawee County, Michigan. This is not far from the border of Michigan and Ohio. On October 5, 1901, he married William John Perrin, in Bay City, Arenac County, Michigan. Four children were born to Pearl and William John: Perry (abt. 1902), Leona (1903), Everett (1905) and Mildred (abt. 1908). It appears from the few records I have found, that William John was a fairly prominent citizen in Standish. He died relatively young, at the age of 43 years in 1918. The youngest daughter Mildred was only about ten years old at the time. I know that Pearl and her children were still living in Standish in 1920, but I do not know what exactly became of her. I know that Pearl died in 1959 and is buried with her husband and one of their daughters, Leona, in the Woodmere Cemetery in Standish. Her headstone is the source at this time for her date of death. On the marriage record I found for her daughter Leona, her mother is listed as Marion Johnson, which I am assuming makes her middle name Marion. - Rick Waggener ============ From Michigan Births 1867- 1902; posted on-line by the LDS: Name: Pearl Johnson Birth Date: 16 May 1884 Birthplace: Clayton, Lenawee, Michigan Gender: Female Race: W Father's Name: Robert J.
