Roll #C 6217: Page 42 Territory of Missouri; County of Saint Genevieve) ss Jesse B Robbins Clerk of the County Court in and for the County aforesaid, To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye - That whereas James F Kenner late of the County of St Genevieve in the State of Missouri lately died intestate having while living, and at the time of his death goods, chattels, rights, credits and affects, and you the said John Lee being legally entitled by law, and having taken the proper oath by law required in such cases and being desirous, that the goods, and chattels, rights, credits and effects of the said James F Kenner may be well and faithfully administered, applied goods disposed of according to law - Therefore I, Jesse B Robbins Clerk as aforesaid do by these presents ordain constitute appoint and grant full power and authority to you the said John Lee to administer and faithfully collect, apply and dispose of all and singular the goods, chattels, rights, credits and effects which were of the said James F Kenner at the time of his death, and to do and perform all other things touching said all ministration according to law - In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused (SEAL) the seal of said Court to be hereto affixed at office at St Genevieve the 1st day of June 1844 June Ist 1844 Jesse B Robbins Clk by J N Littlejohn Deputy Clk I came across this record, transcribed by Lois Mayben of Strictly by Name, which seems to document the approximate date of James death. I previously had information that James was deceased before 1888. I don't have any other information about James, including what his connection was to John Lee.
