Notes
a. Note:   Jessie was the eighth of nine children born to her parents, Charles Thomas Sturman and Eliza Hill. Jessie was born on June 8, 1881 in Michigan, probably Redford in Wayne County. She apparently grew up on her parents farm there. On December 13, 1905, she married John A. Lee in Redford. John was a farmer, originally from England, and they lived on their farm in the Township of Lyon, in Oakland County, Michigan. They raised six children that I know of: Ruth L., Adam R., Ralph D., Jake S., Harold C., and Betty R. Jessie died in January of 1965, and is buried with her husband in Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit. -Rick Waggener ============= Agnes Sturman apparently had a Family Prayer Book that had been in possession of Charles and Eliza, and apparently later Agnes' father Charles James Sturman.
