She was the daughter of Elder Reuben Ross and the wife of S. T. Waggener of Trenton, KY. She moved to Russellville, Logan County in 1858. She is survived by six children, including Richard and Professor Leslie Waggner, and a stepson Capt. J. A. Waggner. ============== Another note from Gail: "... Another little sideline: sometime late in life Elizabeth made a trip to England. She visited Stokes Poges (where Gray's Elegy was written) and brought back some ivy clippings. The story is that some is still growing on the campus of University of Texas. Others may be the ivy on sideyard of Holly Tree Inn (What was their home in Russelville) -- so exciting to find a little nugget of personality in the midst of dates, census records, etc." ============ From Ancestry.com.
