a. Note:   Harry's given name was John Harry ( or Henry ) Fox Gill. After immigrating to the United States, he went by Harry Fox Gill. The 1891 British Census lists his occupation as Blacksmith. At that time, he was living with his father, who was also a Blacksmith. He immigrated to Philadelphia in 1892; arriving at Ellis Island on May 19 aboard the SS Wisconsin from Liverpool. The ship's manifest named him "Henry" Fox Gill. The 1900 Census lists his occupation as "Machinist". At that time, he lived at 1611 St. Marks Square in Philadelphia. In 1920, he lived at 5010 10th. St. and the Census listed his occupation as a Supervisor for the Electric Co.
