Note:   October 9, 1917 Report of Commissioners Who Alloted Year's Allowance North Carolina, Pitt County, Farmville Township Having been duly qualified as commissioners to allot to Mary Wainwright, widow of Joseph Wainwright, her year's allowance, we do hereby allot to her the following articles of personal property, towit:, with the value annexed: Article Value 6 chairs $ 3.00 machine 12.00 2 bedsteads 1 bed 20.00 Kitchen furniture 20.00 Lard 27.00 Meat 15.00 2/4? Hogs 15.00 Farm Implements for crops 20.00 1 wagon 1 cart 20.00 1 mule 40.00 We find that there are now and were at the time of the death of the said Joseph Wainwright, three children, towards whom the said deceased stood in the relation of parent, and who resided with him at his death, who were not at such death, over the age of fifteen years. There being a deficiency of personal property to make up the year's support, we assess such deficiency at $408.00 to be paid by the representative of the said deceased.
