Creech-1979-Amaryllis Wainwright Hunt-Family Researcher-2007 April 14, 1887, Kincheon Wainwright's land (54 acres) was sold at public auction. It was purchased by William Henry Moore for $900.00. According to the Office of Register of Deeds, a marriage license was issued to Kinchen Wainright & Nancy Flanigan on May 14, 1887. They were married on May 15, 1887 at Henry Flanigan's, in Olds Township, Greene County, NC, by J.M. Speight. Witnesses present at marriage: ______E. Dail of Greene County S.S. Dail Henry Flanigan Nancy was the daughter of Thomas Flanigan and Patsy Flanigan. Kinchen and Nancy, both were 41 years of age at the time of this marriage. Moore. The former cut the latter very seriously. Both parties live in Greene County and are near neighbors.
