 3. The Ohio Company was a group of Revolutionary War veterens from Danvers, MA, who were given land grants in Washington County Ohio near Belpre and Marrietta. A Jona. Waite is listedin 1793 as a land grand recipient. A Jonathan Waite enlisted in the Revolutionary War from Danvers, MA. Murraryfield is also mentioned in Naomi Waite�s bounty land petition. A Jonathan Waite lived in Murrayfield, but dates don�t match.
 4. A hand written property deed dated 2 Apr 1795 lists Jona. Waite buying land near Belpre, Washington, Ohio from Thomas Gordon. The original is in the possession of Jack Stunkel who provided me with a copy, as well as many family letters.
 5. An additional letter from Joe Chapman, Washington County Ohio dated Apr 1826 talks about dispostion of soome of John Waites property in Washington County. Some has been sold for taxes. Some 200 acres could be leased or sold but Chapman needs authorization.
 6. Although still searching for parents of Jonathan, a DNA test of Paul J. Waite, descendent of son David Waite, indicates Jonathan comes from the John Waite of Malden, MA line of Waites.
