Note: Mrs. Luther Campbell passed away at 11:30 a.m. September 28, 1950 athe r home 3� miles Northwest of Centerville, after a lingering illness of seven months. She was 91yea rs, 1 month and 28 days at the time of her passing. She was a life long resident of Appanoose county. She was the daughter of Alva and Mary Staley, was born in Centerville, July 29, 1859. Her folks lived on the corner of 7th and West Jackson Street. She moved from there with herp arents to a farm 1� miles north of Centerville, where she remained till she was united in marriage toLuth er M. Campbell September 22, 1879. They moved to the Campbell homestead, where she remained until herdeat h. She is survived by two daughters and three sons, Mary Falukner, EdithW alker and Ray Campbell of Centerville, Glen Campbell of Davenport, Iowa; and Carroll Campbell of Rockford, Illinois. One Stepdaughter , Rosalee Denoon of Centerville, two stepsons, Wiley Campbell ofCenter ville and Harve Campbell of Larmar, Missouri; one brother Roll Staley of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Hattie Mincks, a niece of Mrs. Campbell, who has made her home with her for the past 45 years. Mrs. Campbell also leaves 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther M. Campbell, November1 4, 1925, one son Lewis and two brothers, B. S. Staley and Ora Staley and one sister Mary Esseltine,an d her father and mother. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 at the Miller FuneralHo me, burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
