Note: Mount Morris War Book T/3 Victor N. Mon Victor Mon was inducted into the Army at Camp Grant ILL.,in April 1942, and was trained at Camp Forrest, Tenn., Ft. Lewis, Wash., and at Fitzsimmons General Hospital, Denver Colo. He served with the Medical Detachment of the 136th Infantry, and with the 22nd Station Hospital, located in Hawaii. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He was discharged in November, 1945, at Camp Grant Ill. Victor is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mon, and was born at Polo, May 29, 1915. He married Mrs. Neva Wakenight in December, 1941 and they have a daughter Linda Lou. He is employed in the bindery at Kable plant.
