Note: First child with Alvia Canterbury was a male named Jesse. Aunt Ruby's Father (Alvia Canterbury) died when she was about 4 years old. They were living in Texas. They came back to AR when she was about 5 and went back to Texas when she was about 6 and stayed a while, then came back to AR and moved in with a Uncle Charlie Doyle, stayed until I (Ruby Canterbury Mullen) was 9--that was when her Mother (Carrie Belle Doyle married Jim Guess.(info from Ruby Canterbury Mullen). Carrie had two sisters Ellen and Milissa Doyle both married Dobbs that were brothers. Jim Guess sisters: Nettie Guess and Florence Guess. The pictures I have of Aunt Ruby sitting on her Dad's lap and the small boy on her Mother lap is not a brother but a cousin Johnnie Doyle.
