Note: Mrs. W.J. Beaver Dies Wednesday Fullerton Woman Succumbs Last Week to Heart Seizure; Hold Funeral At Fullerton Mrs. W.J. Beaver, a resident of Dickey County for nearly fifty years passed away last Wednesday evening, February 28, at 11:45 p.m. at her home near Fullerton, following an illness of brief duration. She had been in her usual good health until that morning about ten p.m. when she was taken with a heart seizure, which resulted in death, the end coming as a distinct shock to her family and many friends. Ella Mae Linthurst was born at Miler, PA, on August 21, 1868 and was at the time of per passing 65 years, 6 months and 7 days of age. She grew to young womanhood in the city of her birth and there on March 19, 1885 she was united in marriage to W.J. Beaver. That same year she and her husband came to Dickey County and settled on a homestead 7 � miles northeast of Monango in Valley township, which was their home until about two years ago when they moved to a farm about four miles northwest of Fullerton. Mrs. Beaver was truly known as one of the pioneer mothers whose life was devoted not only to the rearing of her family, but who gave unselfishly of her time and strength to assist and comfort those less fortunate than herself during the hardships of pioneer life. Hers was a home where the latch string was always out and where there was comfort within for strangers as well as family and friends. She became a member of the Methodist church in early life and her Christian spirit was manifest throughout the journey, in her kindness and consideration for those about her. Mr. and Mrs. Beaver were the parents of eleven children, ten of whom, with their father survive. The sons are: James L., Stirum, ND; Orlando E., Jefferson, SD; William Dewey, Forbes; Bruces F., Fullerton; Fern F. and Earl F., who live at home. One son, Harry passed away while an infant. The daughters are Mrs. (Rulth) J.A. Goorich, Manango; Bessie E., who lives at home; Mrs. (Mary) L.C. Remmele of Encinatas, CA; and Mrs. (Mae) Ben Proctor, Dawson, MN. Surviving also are 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
