a. Note:   William M. and Alice E. Goodnow Waldo on March 22, 1926. She had lived in Erie most of her life. Florence had been employed for many years by the American Legion Post #771 in Erie where she had also been a member of that post�s Ladies Auxiliary for 31 years. She was also a member of the VFW Post # 3390 Ladies Auxiliary and the former 313th Machine Gun Battalion ( a WWII Veteran�s social club located on Peach St). Among her interests in life were playing bingo, working puzzles, camping, traveling and fishing. She was preceded in death by one sister, Beatrice Ring and six brothers; Ransom, Dave, William, Howard, Donal, and Emory �Joe� Waldo. Survivors include her two daughters: Joyce Graham and her husband John, and Linda McGraw and her husband James all of Union City; two sisters: Alice Ober of West Springfield and June Pohl of Albion; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., West, 536 West Tenth St. The funeral service will also be held there on Friday at 10 a.m. officiated by Rev. Russel Shuluga, Pastor, Simpson United Methodist Church, Erie. Interment Erie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Erie
