What made me decide it was William 1729 was the fact that after his death at Chelmarsh in 1782 leaving Jane (who never remarried) with young children, I believe at least one of his children was brought up by William Walford and Elizabeth Lowe as this child gave the middle name Lowe to three of his children aswell as one having the middle name Wheeler. William Walford (of Chelmarsh) who married Elizabeth Lowe in 1777 would have been the nephew of William Walford 1729 whereas William 1734 would have been his cousin once removed and therefore less likely to have had any children brought up by William Walford and Elizabeth Lowe.
