Notes
a. Note:   !Birth date changed from 1798 to match exact date given by researcher Melvin Page Leavitt, March 1997. !Death date changed from 1830, Quebec, Canada; for same reason. Don't know where original info came from. It was not in Joseph Page Leavitt's original research. Email from Miss Luarelee Walkey on 17 Mar 2007 to JVL for WALF: Hi, I recently found some information which is slightly different than what is in the big database and thought I would forward it. This information comes from the church register books of the Church of England in Hatley, PQ, original images online at Ancestry.com [surnames in my capitals for easier reading]: On the eighteenth day of April one thousand eight hundred & twenty nine Deborah DILINO wife of Nathaniel LEAVITT farmer of the Parish died in the thirty fifth year of her age & was buried on this nineteenth day of April in the presence of her husband & the other subscribing witness by T. Johnson, Rector [signed] John Johnson. (The phrase "thirty fifth" appears to be added after the entry was originally written.)
