He was a deacon in the Free Christian Baptist Church, forover fifty years, and gave land for the Church and Cemetery on his farmat Rockland. At the time of marriage in 1814 David lived in WaterboroughParish, Queens, New Brunswick. David was a witness to his brotherSamuel's wedding in 1814. David was granted 300 acres of land in the Parish of Wakefield (Lot 4 inthe 4th tier of lots back of the Saint John River at Farmerston) November8, 1816, and 256 acres in the Parish of Brighton (Lot 7 at Rockland)September 8, 1829. !QUESTION: A tombstone at Rockland gives David's birth date as 1787, asdoes Florence Estabrook's "Genealogy of The Anglo-Dutch EstabrooksFamily," but the Estabrooks-Palmer records at the N.B. Museum Archives inSaint John gives it as 1788.
