Notes
a. Note:   "Hannah's parents came to New Brunswick from Westchester Co. N. Y. at thetime of the Revolutionary War. The Vails came from Elizabethtown NewJersey. They lived in Canning. He had a half-lot and house on hisfather's farm; also he had a tannery. They moved to Fredericton about1865 where he died Jun 27, 1887. She died there April 29, 1891. Hannah was probably born on the farm at the head of Lewis Cove on thesoutheast side of Washademoak Lake to which the family had recentlymoved, though it is possible that the birth took place in Gagetown.
