On Sep 29th, 1798 Seth SNOW of Bridgewater sold 44 1/2 acres in Bridgewater to (son) Simeon SNOW. No wife is mentioned in the deed. I have a transcript of the will of Seth SNOW. William SNOW goes back to the Mayflower Compact signer Peter BROWN[E] and his daughter Rebecca Brown who married William SNOW. The will mentions the 1st of Augusta, Oneida Co., NY, dated 20 Jan 1812, proved 7 Jul 1812, names sons Simeon, Seth and Jonathan; daughters, Huldah, wife of Jonathan SNOW; Sally, wife of Joshau RICHMOND and Bethia, wife of Asaph LARABEE; granddaughters, Betsey LARABEE and Patty RANKIN; dau Susannah, wife of Matthew RANKIN to have the balance of his estate and they to be execs. Bethia SNOW and Asaph LARABEE had a daughter, Susannah LARABEE b. 1807 in NY who married Harvey BLAKELEY b. 18 Jun 1803 in Butler, PA; married 1827 in Cranberry, Butler, PA. Some say that Susannah LARABEE may have been born in Niagra Falls which is about an hour away from me. I know of a brother of Susannah (Jonathan LARABEE b. abt. 1808, married to Orvilla Unknown. They had 9 children. Harvey BLAKELEY and Susannah LARABEE had 10 children.
