Oct. 29, 1940 There were six other children, dad being the youngest. Aunt Hannah is still living. Perhaps you know her, she lives in Quanah, Texas. This Grant information sent to me by Mrs. L. S. Grant 5841 Heil Ave. Huntington Beach, Calif. 92647 s/ Virginia Turney [D:\Genealogy\Grant\Grant002.eml] I knew that some of the Grants moved to Coleman. That bit of info came from Ellis Bailey's book on Hill County history. But I had never got around to checking into Colemen Co. records. My grandparents and their family left Hill County in 1916 and moved to Runnels County, close to Norton. I don't know where you live, but you probably don't know where that is! Ha. Albert Grant moved to Hill County about 1880 and bought 112 acres of land from his brother Charlie. He sold the place to White Turner about 1889 and moved away.
