Note:   ean and Regina, Saskatchewan. Graduating from Scott Collegiate in Regina, he went to work for the Capitol Envelope Company in that city. He worked a number of years for them, then joined the Regina City Police where he served for sometime. He resigned from the police force and he with his wife Dorothy (Sandy) and son Donald moved to British Columbia. In British Columbia they tried homesteading. Don worked on a nearby ranch while working on his homestead. He gave that up, taking a position with the British Columbia Correction Services and was stationed at a Bush Camp outside of Prince George. He and Dorothy purchased a home in Salmon Valley and lived there until his death in April, 1996. Donald was a strongly family oriented man, spending as much time with his family and sharing their activities as possible. Both he and Dorothy were avid out doors people, involved in hunting, fishing and other out door activities. Both were charter members of the Volunteer Fire Department in Salmon Valley as well in the Rescue Squad of that Department.
