Notes
a. Note:   ANCESTRY MESSAGE BOARD-RESPONSE TO QUERY Re: Wadsworth in Butternuts-1810 GilbertsvilleFree Posted: 9 May 2009 11:38AM Classification: Query Surnames: Wadsworth We have been unable to find any reference to any Wadsworths in Butternuts. We have searched our Baptist and Presbyterian records for the period 1800-1820, our general store records and tax rolls for the same time frame with no luck. We do note that on the 1810 Census, the Wadsworths were living in the area of the township bordering the Unadilla River. On the other side of the Unadilla River is the town of Guilford [Chenango County] and we do know that there were Wadsworths in that area at one time. You may want to look for them there.
