The Colebrook map from "Historical Maps of Ontario - County of Addington 1878" shows G.M. Walroth as owning 2 lots on the Moscow Road just up the street from the Yarker Road. ON Source: Canada Walroths.FTW Medium: Other Date of Import: 2 Oct 1999 Probate 1890 Napanee, ON Surrogate Court record #618 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some sources show a third wife of Garrett Walroth-- Susie Emsley. I believe this is an error. Susie Emsley, I believe, was the wife of a Methodist clergyman, William H. Emsley, who performed the marriage of Catherine Walroth and William Jefferson Chapman. Susie was a witness to the marriage. She is shown as the preacher's wife in the Canadian censuses in 1881, 1891, and in 1901. jrh-2010 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
