Born at Oxford, Miss, Mrs. Darling had lived in Olive Branch 18 years. She was a Methodist. She also leaves seven sons, VARDAMIN, WILLIAM WAYNE, CARL P. and HERBERT W. DARLING, Memphis: MURRAY DARLING, Oakville, Tenn.; LAVERNE DARLING, Mineral Wells, Miss., and ELLIE JAMES DARLING, Los Angeles; three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Walker and MRS. JEANETTE GRIFFEN, Memphis, and MRS. LORINA WILSON, Mineral Wells; five brothers, MITCHELL SMITH, Oxford; BENJAMIN H. SMITH, Gulfport, Miss; HOWELL SMITH, Mineral Wells, and JACOB Y.
