Note: His parents moved from Alabama to Temple, Tx in 1909, and relocated to Hill Co, Tx. He was licensed as a Methodist Preacher in CLeburne, Tx on April 29, 1930. He attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Tx and earned his BS degree in 1944 from Tx Wesleyan College in Ft. Worth. He retired in 1974 after having served Methodist Congregations in Nursery Circuit, Leesville, Florence, Alvarado, Morgan/Kopperl, Joshua/Godley, Mineral Wells, Georgetown, Cross Plains, Mansfield, Waxahachie, Comanche, Midlothian, Groesbeck, Winters, Corsicana, Rockdale, Port Arthur, Marshall, Carlisle/Henry's Chapel.
