Note: He was an independent oil and gas operator working with his father and brothers in partnership. In about 1930 he, his wife, and only son moved to Breckenridge, Tx where they lived on the oil lease until they built their own house in Breckenridge (about 1958) where they lived until 1983. In 1983 Willard and Bea moved to John Knox Retirement Village in Weslaco, Tx to be near their son and his family. Willard and Beatrice are buried in McAllen, Tx at Valley Memorial Gardens on Taylor Road. A: Death certificate issued in Hidalgo Co, Tx states DOB as 3/5/1896 in Pa. He died at John Knox Village in Weslaco, Tx 23 July 1987 and was buried at Valley Memorial Gardens, McAllen, Tx on 25 July 1987.. SSN: 442-05-7432
