a. Note:   Resided Reading as a young man. Moved to Ipswich, MA. (Portsmouth, NH Families, Walker, 16). This seems to assume that this Richard lived with
 Captain Richard in Reading as a child. However, according to Robert Charles
 Anderson in "The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England,
 1620-1633", this Richard is not a son of Captain Richard of Lynn. That
 conclusion is not indisputable in my opinion; This Richard may still be the
 son of Captain Richard. Known as Richard of Ipswich.
