Notes
a. Note:   N351 By 1781, John H. Walker had moved to Loudoun County, Virginia, and is listed as having paid taxes there until as late as 1788. By 1805 he had moved to Lincoln County, Georgia. He served as a Representative in the Georgia Legislature 1805-1806, Justice of the Inferior Court of Lincoln County, and Clerk of the Superior Court of Lincoln County 1809-1811. In 1823, John H. Walker was ordained as a minister at Upton Creek Baptist Church (now Greenwood Baptist Church), in Wilkes County, Georgia. He and friend Billington McCarty Sanders served together on the Presbytery of Lincolnton Church in Lincoln County as of 29 Jan 1825. In 1835 John H. Walker moved to Walton County, Georgia, and was the first Walker of this line to reside there. (He likely received acreage in the 1820 land lottery.) John H. Walker was witness of the will of his brother-in-law Elijah Loflin, Signed sealed and executed this 26th day of February 1820.
