Note: N469 Eunice Link Walker was a gifted pianist and composer, and studied at Juilliard in New York City before earning her degree at Brenau College. Repeated mental breakdowns resulted in hospitalization. In May 1926, she entered the Milledgeville State Hospital (now Central State Hospital), and lived there the rest of her life. Her diagnosis upon admission was �dementia praecox,� which was decades later reclassified as schizophrenia.
