Note: 1. Marriage to Jean Columbia Took place in Jersey City in May 1948. Per interview with sister in law Lucille Corby Somerville who remembered that Harold and Jean were married a few weeks after her own wedding to Harold's brother George August Somerville. Harold and Jean never had any children. 2. Harold worked For Pilot Freight Lines for most of his working career; He was a shop steward for Teamsters Local 560, the same union founded by his father George Somerville 3. Lived at 66 Patterson St, Jersey City NJ for most of his adult life; This home was demolished in 2007; Prior to that he lived in an apartment with wife Jean on Central Bvd;; Prior to that he lived in the Somerville family home located at 236 Cambridge Ave, Jersey City, NJ. In the last few years of his life, Harold experience declining health. A companion named Henry, took care of him at home until it was no longer feasible. Harold then resided at Harbor View Nursing Home for about 1 1/2 years and died of renal failure at Christ Hospital in 2007 in Jersey City , NJ. Funeral arrangements were all prearranged by Harold and executed by nephew George Somerville, without formal ceremony. Harold is buried in the Somervile family plot of Arlington Cemetery, Kearney, NJ. 5. 1920 US Census - age 8 months- lived at 72 Manhattan Ave, Jersey City NJ with parents George and Julia and an Uncle, James Somerville ( his father's brother) 6. 1930 US Census - age 11- lived at 236 Cambridge Ave, Jersey City, NJ with parents George and Julia and siblings Russell, George and Alice.
