Note: 1. 1930 US Census - age 2 months - lived with parents George and Julia at 236 Cambridge Ave, Jersey City, NJ and siblings Harold, Russell and George Alice and James Sheridan never had any children. Alice was a self serving, mean spirited individual who along with husband James, stole the wealth of her parents, George and Julia. She denied brothers Harold and George their rightful inheritance by bilking all assets including the family home at 236 Cambridge Ave, which Julia had listed Alice and James as joint tenants with right of survivorship. She absconded with Julia's jewelry which consisted of diamonds ( ex. tennis bracelet with half-carat stones), by having pieces re-worked for her own benefit. She attempted on many occasions to turn family member against family member. The comes to mind a Christmas celebration at the family home. For whatever the reason, she would not allow sister-in-law Jean (Harold's wife) to attend the family gathering, essentially banishing her at a time of family togetherness. She was rebuffed later when brother George and his family left at the end of the day to go to Harold's home to share Christmas with Jean. She tried on many occasions to turn Julia against both her brothers and Julia's grandchildren. She died of cancer and is buried in the Somerville family plot in Arlington Cemetery, Kearney, NJ
