Note: Rev. Raleigh C. Walker Jr. Aug. 29, 1912-Sept. 27, 1991 Mishawaka - Rev. Raleigh Clinton Walker Jr., 79, of Timber Crest Chur ch of the Brethren Home, North Manchester, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday at t he health care center. Rev. Walker was a retired minister. He was born Au g. 29, 1912, in Mishawaka, and spent the last five years in North Manchest er On May 12, 1938, in Mishawaka, he married Lora Marie Brothers. She surv ives with two daughters Sharon K. Allspaw of Monroe, Ind, and Joanne Mar ie Irons of LaPorte; two grandchildren; two sisters, Donnabelle V. Ricke rt of Osceola and Mary A. Brunner of New Carlisle; and three brothers, Lew is C. of Bradenton, Fla., Robert F. of Fresno, Calif., and Don R. of Misha waka. He received his bachelor's degree from Manchester College and stud ied theology at Garrett Evangelical Seminary, Evanston, Ill. He was a mem ber of United Methodist Church at Mishawaka. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Timber Crest Chapel. Funeral wi ll be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester. Friends may call fr om 3 lo 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Laughter Mortuary, North Manchester. M emorial contributions may be made to Timber Crest Home. Raleigh Clinton WALKER Jr., Timbercrest Church of the Brethren Home, North Manchester, died there Friday at 2:50 p.m. He was born Aug. 29, 1912 in Mishawaka to Raleigh C. and Mary I. MOORE WALKER Sr.. He was married May 12, 1938 in Mishawaka to Lora Marie BROTHERS, who survives at Timbercrest. A retired minister who had served in Rochester, he was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Mishawaka High School, Manchester College and Garrett Theological Seminary in Evanston, Ill. Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Sharon Kay ALLSPAW, Monroe, Ind., and Joanne Marie IRONS, LaPorte; three brothers, Lewis C. [WALKER], Bradenton, Fla.; Robert E. [WALKER], Fresno, Calif., and Don R. [WALKER], Mishawaka; two sisters, Donnabell RICKERT, Osceola, and Mary A. BRUNNAR, New Carlisle, and two grandchildren. Preceding in death were four brothers and three sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Timbercrest Chapel in North Manchester with the Rev. Bruce HOSTETLER officiating, assisted by the Revs. Paul STEELE and Glenn MULLIGAN. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, North Manchester. Friends may call at the DeLaughter Mortuary in North Manchester Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and at Timbercrest Chapel for an hour before services. Memorials may be made to Timbercrest.
