She had lived most of h er life in St. Joseph County. She was born June 8, 1911, in South Bend to Ora and Gertrude Johnson. On A ug. 1, 1931, in Goshen, she married Lewis C. Walker. He died in 2001. She is survived by two sons, Richard (Wanda) Walker of Elkhart and Rona ld L. (Sandra) Walker of Ellenton, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-gra ndchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Marie Longley; and one brother, K enneth Johnson. Friends may call two hours prior to the noon Friday funeral service at Zim merman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola. Pastors Matt Wal ker and Dale Turner will officiate. Burial will be private in St. Joseph V alley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger. Mrs. Walker had been a clerk at Wineys and Dog-N-Suds for many years. S he attended Maple Lane United Methodist Church, South Bend. Memorials may be given to the Miller's Merry Manor (Wakarusa) activities d epartment. She was a Clerk at Wineys and Dog-N- Suds for many years. On August 1, 1931, in Goshen, IN, she married Lew is C. Walker, who preceded her in death in 2001. She attended Maple Lane U nited Methodist Church in South Bend. Survivors include sons, Richard (Wan da) Walker of Elkhart and Ronald L. (Sandra) Walker of Ellenton, FL; eig ht grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildr en. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis C. Walke r; a sister, Marie Longley; and by a brother, Kenneth Johnson. Services wi ll be at noon Friday, May 4, in the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109 Lin coln Way West, Osceola, IN, where friends may call two hours before servic es. Private burial will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Ceme tery in Granger. Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola, is assisting the f amily with arrangements.
