Committal service will be conducted by Rev. W. H. Seyfert, pastor of the Congregational church. Mrs. Harriman was born in Ogdensburg, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James McGuire. She had made her home in San Barbara for the past 18 years. Besides her daughters, Mrs. Georgia Howe and Mrs. Belle A. Guldager of San Francisco, she is survived by two brothers, Capt. George M. McGurie of San Barbara; Fred McGurie of Ogdensburg; three sisters, Mrs. Annette C. Turner, and Miss Belle L. McGuire, San Barbara, and Mrs. Ira Foote of Ogdensburg. Funeral services were held in San Barbara =last Thursday with the Rev. dr. Robert N. McLean of the First Presbyterian Church of that city officiating. Maguire. Mrs. Harriman had been an invalid for many years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clinton Guldager, San Francisco; and Mrs. George M. Howe, Santa Barbara; three sisters, Mrs. Foote, this city, Mrs. Annetta Turner, and Miss Belle Marquire; two brothers, George, Santa Barbara, and Fred S Maguire, Ogdensburg. Funeral and interment occurred in Santa Barbara. She alleges that in shiping the horse from Schenectady to Fort Plain last fall it was put in a defective car and that it broke through the floor while in transit, receiveing injuries that have since prevented it from running. She says the horse is a total loss to her, as on account of his viciousness he cannont be handled for anything but racing and that as soon as the claim is adjusted she will have him killed.
