a. Note:   . Obituary - James W. Walker James W. Walker, a highly esteemed resident of this city, died last night at the residence of his son, A. V. Walker, No. 282 Central avenue, after an extended illness. Deceased was born in Deposit, N. Y., but resided in Cohoes for 33 years. For many years he was employed as foreman in the Walker & Williams bat shop and later active in a similar capacity in the bat shop of Walker & Harp. He is survived by two sons, J. W. Walker of Hartford, Conn., and A. F. Walker of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. C. P. Nelson of Waterford, and Mrs. R. Freaman of Cohoes. The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence of his son and the interment will be in the Waterford Rural Cemetery.
