Note: BURIAL: Ogdensburg Journal Wednesday, 14 Nov 1945 Johnson Services Held Here Today Funeral Services for Mrs. Esther Johnson were held this morning at 10 o'clock in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Berry, 822 Congress St., at at 10:30 in St. John's Episcopal Church. The Rev. George A. Palmer, rector of St. John's, officiated. The pall bearers were Robert Willmott, Henry Kelly, John Gagnon and Richard Larock. Burial was made in Ogdensburg Cemetery. Mrs. Esther Johnson, 78, widow of Thomas Johnson, died in this city Sunday night at 11 o'clock. She would have observed her 79th birthday today. She was born in Ogdensburg Nov. 12, 1866, the daughter of the late John and Anna Scott Mills. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church of this city. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clarence Kelley, Mrs. Clarence Berry, Mrs. Edward Rheome, all of this city; one son, Thomas Johnson, also of Ogdensburg; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs.Berry, with whom she resided at 822 Congress St., Wednesday morning at 10 and from St. John's Episcopal Church at 10:30. The Rev. George A. Palmer, rector, will officiate. Interment will be in Ogdensburg Cemetery.
