TUESDAY EVENING, DECEMBER 17, 1918, p. 22, col. 4 JANE GARNER SUCCUMBS Aged resident of New Hartford Died Late Last Night. Late last evening the death of Miss Jane Garner, an aged resident of New Hartford, occurred at the home of her niece. Mrs. Frank Walker, 15 Madison avenue, New Hartford, old age being the cause. Jane Garner was born in New Castle, England, on October 30, 1842, the daughter of John and Susan Garner. In the year 1880 she came to Canada and resided there until 1894 when she came to New Harford to live, and she has resided there until now. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by two sisters. Mrs. Samuel Rowcroft and Mrs. Sarah Hartley of New Hartford; four nieces. Mrs. W. G. Wilson, Mrs. Mary Powers. Mrs. F. E. Walker and Mrs. W. J. Wilson, all of New Hartford, and four nephews, George, Thomas. John and Alfred Albidton. All of Lewiston, Me. The death of Miss Garner will be mourne by many. She was very well liked by all who met her.
