a. Note:   DEATH: Ogdensburg Journal, Wednesday Sept. 19, 1934 - W.M. WILMOT, 65, DIED AT HOME IN CITY Well Known Contractor Failed to Recover from Second Shock William M. Wilmot, 65, a well known local contractor, passed away at his home, 1114 Pickering Street at 1:26 this afternoon. Mr. Wilmot suffered a stroke on July 6 and was seriously ill for sometime requiring treatment at Hepburn Hospital. He partially recovered, however, and returned to his house. He suffered a second stroke Sunday night and never regained consciousness. Born in, Mr. Wilmot came to this city many years ago and engaged in thecontracting business which he continued until ill health forced him toretire from active work. He was a member of the Bricklayer's Union formany years. Mr. Wilmot was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Surviving are his wife, Eliza Wilmot, two sons, William J. and Robert Henry Wilmot and one daughter, Mrs. Henry Spooner, all of this city; andseveral nephews and nieces. Funeral arrangements are not complete. BURIAL: Ogdensburg Journal, Thursday Sept. 20, 1934 - Wilmot Rites Will Be Held On Friday Funeral services for William J. Wilmot will be held at his home, 1114 Pickering Street at 10 o'clock Friday morning and at St. John's EpiscopalChurch at 10:30 o'clock. Rev. Charles E. Kennedy will officiate. Interment will be at Ogdensburg Cemetery.
