The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home, with the Rev. Garnet O.Wright, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Ogdensburg cemetery. Surviving Mr. Johnson are his wife, Mrs. Jennie Beatie Johnson; seven sons, Thomas L. Jr., and Robert J. Johnson, both of Knoxville, Tenn., and George F., Albert, Robert L., Ralph E. and Walter L. Johnson, all of Ogdensburg; a daughter, Mrs. Lindon (Ella) Kelley, Ogdensburg; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Kelly, Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Berry and Mrs. Edward(Helqne) Rheome, all of Ogdensburg; 17 garndchildren and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Johnson was born in this city May 2, 1889, the son of Thomas L. and Esther Mills Johnson. He married Jennie Beatie in 1921 at the First Baptist Church of Ogdensburg. The Rev. Arthur E. Kelly, then pastor of the church, performed the ceremony. Mr. Johnson was employed for 31 years by the Rossie Iron Ore Co. at their Ogdensburg plant. He retired four years ago because of ill health. Mr. Johnson attended the First Baptist Church of Ogdensburg. He was a member of the local chapter of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
