a. Continued:   He was very much opposed to secession and, while he did not support the Union, he objected to the war. He was vehemently opposed to slavery and probably incurred the wrath of many of his neighbors by taking this stand. York County Deeds, Oct 1840. Daniel Seehorn and wife Rebecca Seehorn, formerly Rebecah Carscadden. 145 acres deeded to us by our son Hugh Seehorn part of a tract of land of John Swan by deed, 20 Aug 1787 to Robert Carsadden, to his daughter Rebeccah now the wife of Daniel Seehorn.
