a. Note:   He fought at the Battle of Bunker Mill, a member of Capt. Joel Fletcher's company, Col. Ephraim
 Doolittle's regiment. In 1777 he enlisted in Col. Rufus Putnam's
 regiment, serving until 1780�three years. July 1, 1780,
 he enlisted in Capt. Phineas Parker's company for six months
 to reinforce the Continental Army. In the return of this enlistment
 he is described as twenty years of age, five feet nine inches
 in height, light complexion; residence. Petersham. About 1785
 Thomas moved to Woodstock, Vt., where he died about 1790.
