Harold L. Wallace, 74, of Arkport RD 2 died Friday (Dec. 4, 1981) in Noyes Memorial Hospital here following a long illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of South Dansville and had been employed as an automobile mechanic for the former Hale dealership in Hornell before retiring several years ago.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dansville and was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of Dansville.
Surviving are his wife, Alberta; a son, William of Geneseo; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Nelson of Rexford and Mrs. Martha Fellows of Monroe, Conn.; and seven grandchildren.
A private funeral service was conducted with arrangements by the Chamberlin Funeral Home of Dansville. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dansville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Arkport Ambulance Fund. (GCE, December 10, 1981, p4)
