 Nothing has been discovered to place Samuel Wallis in the Maryland colony prior to 29 Feb 1703. Family tradition is that he was brought to Maryland by William Comegys about 1700. Starting in 1704 William Comegys and Samuel Wallis begain many joint land transactions for their mutual benifit.
 Cornelius Comegys, Elizabeth's 3rd known child, named his first son, born 19 Sep 1725, Henry. At that time Henry wasn't a Comegys name but rather a Wallis name.
 These circumstances lead to the conclusion that Elizabeth is a daughter of Henry Wallis and that Samuel Wallis and William Comegys were brother-in-laws.
