Notes
a. Note:   e Labbe. The other half belonged to the children. Donation without succession, it seems. On 15 September 1707, Marie sold the same half, three arpents in width, to Pierre Fugere, for 500 livres. Did she then go to live at the home of her son Rene? And then we note that the prelate, one T. Hazeur, without additional details, states that he blessed her mortal remains on Saturday 29 December 1708. *** This is was from the Emond family site I believe....but is also corroborated by an entry in the Colonial Archives : Item part of: Fonds des Ordonnances des intendants de la Nouvelle-France [documents textuels] 1709, mars, 21 SCOPE AND CONTENT: Ordonnance entre les héritiers de Marie Lafaille, veuve de René Emond, et Pierre Fougère, au sujet d'une habitation achetée de la dite veuve. [Schedule between the heirs to Marie Lafaille, widow of Rene Emond, and Pierre Fougère, about a dwelling bought from the said widow. Jette notes that Pierre is found on Ile d'Orleans as early as 16 June 1699 at Ste-Famille. He also notes that Pierre is age 27 in 1703. **** From the PRDH site: Present at the wedding were Jacques Baudon {Beaudoin], Jacques Corriveau, Etienne Corriveau, and JB Leblond. The Priest presiding over the wedding was F. Lamy, cure at Ste-Famille **** Verified through old maps that Verrières [spelled Veyrière] was in Angoumois, but barely **** Found on a website for the ministry of culture in France that the church in Verrières is called St-Palais
Note:   On 11 August 1705, Marie Lafaye, the widow Emond, gave three arpents of frontal land to Pierr
